The CEO of Breast Pumps

Sure nothing still compares to the nutrition of breast milk that mothers can give their child. However for working moms, breast feeding can be a little complicated because they cannot bring their child at work to do that. Breast pumps are used to solve that dilemma. The milk from mother’s breast is sucked to save into feeding bottles to continue on with breast milk by a caregiver.

Breast pumps also are used to stimulate the lactation of mothers with low milk supply or prevent the engorgement or overfull of milk in the breast.

There are many kinds of breast pumps from manual to mechanical devices depending on use.

Hand powered breast pumps are manually operated, there are one handed or two handed pumps meaning both hands are used to pump a single breast and it gives mother full strength of the strength and rhythm of suction. The one handed manual pumps have two types: the lever-type which moves in a hand lever like motion and the pop-top which uses springy rubber loop to pop-up a little cylinder above the flange to produce suction.

There are also motorized pumps which are machine operated. The hand-held motorized breast pump is one of this type. They are battery powered or can be plugged into outlets. It requires lifting a finger off a finger-tap hole to produce a rhythm for breast pumping.

Then there is the table-top electric breast pump. This device sits on a table-top while the suction is being transmitted through air tubing to the flanges of breasts.

There are also foot-powered breast pumps that require no electrical outlet or batteries, and it is much more portable than electric breast pumps. It has a silent operation and can be carried even at work.

Madela Breast pumps will give a deeper insight on the types and functions of breast pumps. Look around our site to see the importance of breast pumps to working moms. Breast milk is the best for babies; it is not hard for working mothers to give their child the nourishment.
